Welcome to our website and a new show year. The 2011 show season brings some exciting changes to the Winner’s Circle and Hunter’s Isle shows. Following last year’s very successful and well-received move of the Hunter’s Isle shows to the Suffolk County Farm in Yaphank, we will continue to hold all our shows at the Farm. To enhance showing opportunities for all exhibitors, this year we will run the shows as three series – Summer, Spring and Fall Series – rather than as separate Winner’s Circle and Hunter’s Isle shows. Each series will have its own prize list, feature special events and have its own Grand Champion, Trainer and Barn Awards. We have expanded the very popular $1000 Hunter Derbies in each Series culminating in a $5000 Derby Finals on November 20! And following our tradition, we will run the WC Charity Show and the May Festival for the benefit of local organizations.
This year, in an effort to streamline the showing experience for all, exhibitors are encouraged to submit their entries no later than 72 hours prior to the start of each competition. Pre-entering saves the exhibitor both time and the post-entry fee charges. It will also allow for the website posting of classes and horses the day before the show and will provide for a quicker show office experience the day of the show.
As always, Winner’s Circle and Hunter’s Isle welcome comments and suggestions and wish everyone a successful and fun show season.
